Several people have been injured after a Delta aircraft traveling from LA to Sydney, Australia encountered significant turbulence this past Friday.
Delta Flight 41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it touched down at Sydney Airport, an airline spokesperson stated. Several cabin crew members sustained injuries.
Emergency medical services stated they evaluated five patients, and transported a trio to a medical facility with minor injuries that such as spinal discomfort and head pain. Those affected spanned from their thirties and seventies.
